El kitting tiene amplios beneficios como la mayoría de las herramientas, pero en especial los beneficios de este son conocidos porque gracias a su aplicación los trabajadores de ensamblaje de una empresa se vuelven más eficientes de manera notoria e inmediata.

De hecho, aquellos fabricantes que no utilizan este tipo de herramientas suelen atascarse en el flujo de materiales.  Dentro del sector de fabricación la fabricación de los kits representa básicamente un tipo de proceso de admisión.
